Violet, née Walton is the sister of Hyacinth, Daisy and Rose whom Hyacinth is always bragging about. She is portrayed by Anna Dawson.

Violet also makes minor appearances earlier in the series, although actress Anna Dawson did not portray Violet. For example, Violet once is seen on a ladder with only a woman's legs visible.

Background 

Violet is very sensitive and constantly moaning. She and Bruce own a new Mercedes and a large house with a swimming pool, sauna and room for a pony. She also enjoys traveling. Her maiden name is Walton, as is Hyacinth's, Daisy's and Rose's although her married surname is never revealed.

In the episode, The Pageant, Bruce mentions that he and Violet have several unnamed children when Violet threatens to leave him ("You can't leave me! Oh come back to me Violet! Think of the scandal! The children! The alimony!") In Skis, Violet threatened to divorce Bruce, but Hyacinth insisted she stays with him.

Season 2 Episode 5, they pull up to Bruce and Violets home, and there is a sign on that gate that states: "The Paddocks," so it is to be assumed this is Violets married name - Bruce and Violet Paddock
