A Picnic For Daddy
Hyacinth is obsessed with entertaining Mr and Mrs Thorgunby for the holiday. Meanwhile, she has bought Richard a Father Christmas outfit for him to wear when distributing gifts to the old people at the Church Hall. Against his will, Richard puts on the outfit, but after having one too many sherries with Emmett, he is unable to fulfil the deed, hence Elizabeth puts on the outfit and pretends to be Richard.
Richard: More Christmas cards? Are they genuine, or are they more of those you've written to yourself?
Hyacinth: I regard it as a service to those people who may have misplaced my address. I'm sure they'd like to think they sent me a card.
