A Strange Man
It's the day of Daisy's granddaughter's christening and Hyacinth is most displeased that Stephanie, Daisy's daughter, is not married. But with some encouragement from Richard, Hyacinth agrees to go to the christening with an open mind, until of course the mother and child go missing.
Guest starring Gerald Sim.
The Vicar at the Christening: "I met Stephanie once, I remember. I'm looking forward to meeting her husband."
Hyacinth (knowing the two aren't married): "Aren't we all."
- This episode marks the first and only appearance of Daisy and Onslow's daughter Stephanie.
- This is the last episode where Rose is played by Shirley Stelfox. Mary Millar took over the role in the next season, and remained with the show for the remainder of the series.
